I had some work stuff today, but wanted some nature time too.  When I pulled in to these trails, it started to rain.

I almost didn’t stay.  I sat in my car for a few minutes and let the rain lighten.  Then I went.  It was more like a drizzle.  And, when I was in the woods, the leaves blocked the water.

Tonight I am thankful that I stayed and walked.  It was a beautiful walk in the woods.  And the passing rain storm helped some colorful leaves float down to carpet the floor. 🙂
