The word of the day was patience. Unfortunately I did not know this fact when the day started.
Patience with myself when I had to pull myself together and stop crying at the airport.
Patience with the lady next to me on the airplane who was a nervous flier (it was easy to be patient with her!).
Patience with the connecting flight for leaving about two hours late after having a maintenance issue.
Patience with the two shuttles that wouldn’t take me to the Green Lot to get my car.
Patience with the four lane stand still traffic on I-94.
Patience with the traffic and road construction on the backroads.
Patience with the store that didn’t have the few things I was going to grab on my way home.
Patience with myself for being so tired.
Tonight I am thankful for patience. I was tired today and had to say goodbye to my kiddo this morning. I was not in a great mood and needed an extra shot of patience today. I prayed a lot today and patience was present. ❤️
