When I went away to college my first year, I went to Oklahoma. My Mom drove down with me and flew back home. When it was time for me to move back home, she flew down and drove back with me. Could I have done it myself? Possibly. Was I glad she was there? Oh yes!
Tonight I’ve flown to my daughter to drive back with her while her hubster is doing military stuff. And when she goes back, I’ll drive with her and fly back. Could she do it herself? Of course. Am I happy to be here with her? Absolutely!!
Tonight I am thankful for being able to be there for my adult kiddo! I’ve been thankful for my Mom’s trips for many years! ❤
And. . I got an awesome deal on flights! $150 roundtrip with both flights! I only had a backpack, so no luggage fees! And I didn’t pick my seat, so no fees there! The seats assigned to me at check-in were row 33, then row 4 on the next flight! Row 4!! I could have been next to the pilot! 😆
