My darling homeschool kiddo has had to deal with a less than available teacher over the past four(ish) months. With the car accident, kiddo moving, head injury with slow recovery, and then trying to catch back up on life while not being 100%; yep, I’ve not been the world’s best teacher.
Fortunately, my homeschool kiddo is a great student. He’s been hanging in there and doing great. With the exception of Spanish. He can write it. He can kind of read it, a little. But, we haven’t had a lot of talking out loud in Spanish.
Today he had to have a talking out loud test. He was very nervous!
Tonight I am thankful that my several months of being “off” didn’t affect my homeschool kiddo! He does not care for Spanish, so at least I haven’t crushed any life dreams here! But I am very thankful that he is doing good! And we will be talking more in Espanol pronto!
