I was watching the rain clouds this morning on my way to my first appointments. I usually keep an extra raincoat in my van. It was brought inside a few weeks ago to get washed. It is washed and is sitting in my room; waiting to be taken back out. 🤣
My first two appointments today had people that had big life stuffs. I sat with the first one, on her living room couch, while she cried and told me her story. I walked around with the second person, listened to their story and made a few jokes to cheer them up. There were smiles and chuckles.
Tonight I am thankful that it was worth it to get drenched today. I was there for the houses in the rain. But really, I felt like I was there to offer support and hope for strangers in their hard parts of life. ❤️
