I don’t know how it works in other homes, but in our home it is fairly acceptable to make a piggy bake request on someone else’s food preparation.  This is within reason, of course.

If someone is making a sandwich and all of the sandwich materials are out and in production; then it is deemed a reasonable request to ask for a sandwich.  And the sandwich maker should be polite and make an extra sandwich.  At the very least, the sandwich preparer should nicely leave out the sandwich supplies for the next person wanting a sandwich. 

Now if the sandwich was just made and the sandwich materials are being put away; then the time limit has ended and the sandwich preparer is under no obligation to bring back out the sandwich materials to prepare another sandwich. 

This is the unofficial, yet official law of fooding in our kitchen.

With that in mind, tonight I am thankful for my yummy lunch of hash browns and taquitos!!  Two kiddos were making their lunches and shared with their Momma! 🥰🥰  I felt very blessed, and fortunate with the timing!
