I have cut all of my kiddos’ hair over the years. I have no formal training. Nor am I good at it 100% of the time. I would say I’ve got a 90-95% success rate.
One kiddo had been waiting for a trim. He’s been wanting to go a little outside of his comfort zone, as he was getting tired of his old haircut. The last time, I did what he had decided. And he wanted it just a little bit different.
I meant to look at some Youtube videos. But I forgot. So I got the clippers and told him I was going to “try something”. He could have ran away. But he stayed.
Tonight I am thankful for the trust that my kiddos have put in my skills over the years. And tonight I am thankful that his haircut turned out great! It looks good and he seemed pleased! Hooray!
