34(ish) hours to departure time! There is no specific time because this isn’t that type of journey. The way back will be measured. There’s no need for that now.
I have one meeting tomorrow. The second appointment rescheduled (yay). I’ll be taking six files with me to finish up along the way. I’ll get them all set tomorrow.
Laundry is almost done. Just the bed sheets tomorrow. And putting away the loads in the washer and dryer right now.
Van is cleaned out. I had a kiddo helper tonight. That made it so much quicker!
House has groceries, toilet paper, and pet food. Work has instructions on what to do in my absence. Oh, I even got an oil change, filled my tank with gas, and changed my wiper blades.
Tomorrow (or the morning of 😆) I’ll pack some clothes, toiletries, and laptop. Traveling snacks are purchased. Cooler is ready to be filled with drinks. Yep, feeling good!
Tonight I am thankful for feeling ready for this adventure!! I am so excited!! Three days. Three whole days of just me, God, and exploring the world while meandering south!! At my destination, I’ll get to be present for a very important person. And then I’m zipping back home!
