I am now working with a bigger, more complex editing software now. It has many, many features that I don’t know or understand. I used the built in Help feature and found answers to do things. Then I had to still go to YouTube for help. With some of the things that I was trying to do, I was a few YouTube videos in before I found my answer.
Starting a new business, going to a completely different industry, learning new skillsets, etc; with all of this I have tried quite a lot to have patience with myself, to move slower while navigating directions – going forward, then backward, then off on a slightly different angle. For whatever reason, this video editing software has irked me a little more. Maybe because I can competently use several other video editing software programs!! Yet this one, the one that can handle what I need to do next, is so next level!
It is good. I know it is good. I am just used to being catered to user-friendly versions. And now I am more at a professional level. Which is ok. I can do this. I just need to set my feelings of self aside and have grace with the things I don’t know – but will learn!
Tonight I am thankful to have a software that can do what I need it to do (and a whole lot more!). I am thankful for YouTube videos and Help materials to learn this software. And I am thankful that the other editing software programs have been easy to use so far!
