Failure

Well, the hubster and I have failed as parents.

Tonight, in my living room, one child said “Who is Reba McEntire?”  And another child said “Who is Mr. T?”  *sigh*  Where did we go wrong?

At first I declared that we would have a “Reba McEntire” day here in our home.  But now . . now, after the Mr. T comment . . . we are going to have a Blast from the Past day.

I will have to spend a little time planning this.  Maybe it will be a whole weekend thing.  Hmm . .   Yes, this needs to be fixed!  It is our job to teach the children!  🙂

Tonight I am thankful for my darling children, and even their lack of knowledge of popular celebrities from before their time.  And I am thankful for the chance to impart some knowledge to them.  We are going to have a fun weekend here soon!
