This is our last 4th grade field trip to Mackinac. I had to break a tradition tonight. On the last three trips, I have ordered pizza for my hotel room. Tonight we are staying in a different town. I had the boys all excited for pizza . . and it turns out that all the pizza places in town are CLOSED!
But, I consider it a win overall because we ate lunch at the Grand Hotel! This was my first time ever being in the Grand Hotel. And I definitely do think it was grand!! Some day I will be back!
Today was a wonderful day! I really do love this field trip! It is my favorite of all the field trips!
Tonight I am thankful for the 4th grade field trip to Mackinac! There is obviously a lot of history and interesting things to learn here! But even better is the memories made with each of my children on this trip!
