Tape

Although the new office has been operational for a week now, it hasn’t been 100% done.  This weekend we finished the trim work.

There is wainscoting and chair rail.  So with the whole combo and mix of materials, we had to paint it.  I do not like tapping things to be painted.  I am not the most detailed person with a lot of things.  But you have to be detailed with that, or you stare at the “oops” spots for a really long time.  There have been rooms in my past where I hurry thru with the tape, genuinely not caring that it wouldn’t be perfect.  But, this is my office.  So I want it pretty close to perfect.

Hours . . I spent hours taping to paint.  I dislike it immensely.

Tonight I am thankful that the trim is up and painted!  Still no pics though . . sorry!  That annoying painter’s tape is still up.  I can’t do a “reveal” of the room with the tape showing!!
