Amwell

I was interested with an addition to the hubster’s insurance during this last renewal.  I shared about it on facebook and heard some great stories of people that have used the app, Amwell.

This morning was my first time actually using the app.  I have to say . . it was pretty great!

At the end of last week I was catching a fairly wild kitty and the kitty gave me a pretty big scratch.  I cleaned it out.  I’ve been putting epsom salts on it.  And this morning I woke up with some weird red spots by the scratch.

Before 7am I fired up my app and talked to a doctor.  He saw the area via the phone’s camera.  I told him what had happened.  And he sent in an antibiotic to my pharmacy.  All for $5 (under hubster’s insurance).  AND before everyone in this house was even out of their beds!

Tonight I am thankful for my first successful episode using Amwell!!  Now to just heal up!!  I hope the kitty appreciates that I was actually helping it!  Geesh!
