Ideas

Here’s a hard concept for me – “Just because an idea is a good idea, does not mean it is a good idea for me”.

This is difficult for me. I like ALL the ideas! And I want to do ALL the ideas!

Today I had a meeting with my trusted associates. And just while talking with them, I had one of those feelings of doubt. The more I thought about things, the more the new idea still made sense, but it still didn’t feel like the best idea. So I decided to let that idea pass.

Then there was another idea that I’ve been toying with. That idea is good. But it is not the right time.

Tonight I am thankful for taking more time to make better decisions that are not only good ideas, but also good ideas for me!
