Decades

Ten years ago I turned 30. That birthday was a big one for me. I don’t know, something about leaving my 20’s had me believing it was a big deal. This year, leaving the 30s behind does not seem so life-altering.

Age is important in a doctor’s office. But that’s probably about it. Outside of that, age is just a number.

Tonight I am thankful for a birthday filled with love from my family. They tried to make my birthday extra special, and I love them for it ❤
