It was a goal of mine for many years to one day go to Punxsutawney and watch the Groundhog celebrations! The hubster and I drove thru Punxsutawney on our honeymoon years ago. It is a cute town!

I like the movie Groundhog Day! And that made it seem fun to go to the groundhog festivities! Then one day I looked at how many people actually go to see Punxsutawney Phil on February Second. Well, that was it. I didn’t want to go enough to stand in the cold with a huge crowd of people!

Tonight I am thankful for the power of the internet! This morning I watched the groundhog festivities via livestream! And I watched Punxsutawney Phil predict 6 more weeks of winter while sitting here in my comfy clothes in front of my heater. Now, that is the way to do it! 🙂
