T’was the night at the end of kiddo spring break and all thru the house,
the kiddos were all busy, hoping tomorrow would go quietly as a mouse.
The tablets were charged (hopefully) by the backpacks with care,
Hoping for the snooze button tomorrow to share.
They lollied and dawdled about going to their beds,
while thoughts of hair-do’s and outfits went thru their heads.
And momma (that’s me) who longed for more than a nap,
was thankful for older teenager kiddos whose stuff she no longer had to pack.
Tonight I am thankful for a spring break week with all the kiddos home! ❤ I love when all the kiddos are home! ❤ ❤ ❤
