Today I woke up and laid in bed for awhile playing on my phone. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
I left my house and went for a 7 mile bike ride thru the country because I wanted to. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
I got myself ready and went to church with some of my family. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
After church we went out to lunch wherever we pleased. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
After lunch, as a realtor, I showed a property for sale. I worked one of my jobs for a company that I own. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
After that I had to drive out to appraise a property (I wasn’t meeting anyone at this house, so I could go when it was convenient for me). I worked one of my jobs for another company that I own. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
On my way back home I stopped at my office and moved some things around, to be better ready for the upcoming week. There are other countries that I couldn’t do that.
I’ve heard of some that don’t want to celebrate the 4th of July this year. And that is their right. There are other countries that they couldn’t do that.
Tonight I am thankful that I live in this country. I will always celebrate the 4th of July. I will always be mindful of the many freedoms that we have. And although I will never agree 100% with the things of this country; I know that what we have that is good far outweighs the bad.
