Today was Strawberry Day!
This was an extra special strawberry day actually. Today I only picked strawberries with three of my children . . buuut I drove four of the children there with me.
What happened to the fourth child, you may wonder? Well . . he was working! Working at the strawberry patch!! Today was a trial day for the strawberry workers! And, he was hired! For two weeks, he will be picking strawberries and earning money!
Tonight I am thankful for Strawberry Day! We have 20 pound of berries cleaned and in the fridge. I have a very full tummy stuffed with strawberry shortcake! And I have a son with a job . . a strawberry job no less!
