Light

I don’t know how he did it.  He just made everyone feel so loved.  He made everyone feel welcomed.  He made everyone feel like a friend.  And he gave the world’s absolute best hugs.

I just talked to him last week.  We were talking about his future plans.  He was excited.

Today has been a mix of tears and smiles.  His amazing spirit brought so much love in this world.  I kept clicking back to Facebook and there would be another memory shared of his love, his excitement, and his light.

This still doesn’t seem real.

Tonight I am thankful for being privileged enough to have known my friend since school days.  I’ve never known someone so full of love and blazing inspiration as he was.  I want to be like him when I grow up.
