Plan B

Alas, the sailing was postponed due to the weather.  What to do?  What to do?

My kiddos are Teen Titan’s fans.  They’ve been wanting to see the new movie.  We rarely go to the big theater.  We are rather fond of the local Sun Theater.  But today we ventured to the big theater!

I could only find the movie playing in one theater.  I looked at five of them!  So we bought our tickets online and left.  Thankfully we left early.  The highway was closed on our way.  Our detour took up all our extra time.

Here’s a brag moment now.  We all know that traffic being re-routed is an inconvenience and eats up time.  But, I asked the kids to say a prayer for whomever was in the accident; as it must be pretty bad to close down the whole highway.  I glanced in my rear view mirror and saw eyes closed, saying a prayer for a stranger.

We arrived at the theater, got our popcorn, and sat in our seats just as the last preview was ending.  Perfect timing!  The movie was funny.  The kids had fun 🙂

Tonight I am thankful for our Plan B.  We’ll do sailing some day.  Today was great just how it was!
