I was pregnant with my youngest the last time we went to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad. I’ll be honest, I don’t remember a ton of the visit. I was 5 months pregnant, carrying a one year old, and sharing hand holding and carrying of a two and four-year old with the hubster. We may have brought the wagon. But I don’t think we did due to the snow at the time.
Although I didn’t remember a lot of the details, I did know it was a fun place. And tonight we went back! Our van full of teenagers and preteens were skeptical of the fun that I had promised. But, they all had a good time at the village tonight! We rode the Christmas train and saw the light displays. We walked around the lighted town, explored the old-fashioned village, and the kids even let me take a picture of them with Santa (although I won’t post it here because I am a nice mom!).
Tonight I am thankful for a fun evening with the family! After spending every extra second working on the new office, this time away with my favorite people was just perfect!!
