His Choice

Last night was wrestling.  Today was basketball!

Our first basketball game of the season went well!  My boy got a basket and shared the ball well.  He had fun 🙂

I am especially proud of him for the team he chose to play on.  He enjoys playing basketball.  And he wants to do well.  But he wants to have fun with it without a lot of pressure.  He chose to play with Connect while receiving many comments from his friends at school that “Connect is not real basketball”.  He could have caved and played with his school friends.  But, that isn’t what he wanted to do this year.

Tonight I am thankful for kids making their own decisions that are right for them! And very thankful for kids enjoying themselves, having fun, and trying their best!
