Magnets

I stopped at a booth today and bought a Veteran car magnet for my dad.  While talking with the lady at the booth, she asked who the veteran was.  I told her that it was my dad and he recently had to change his veteran license plate after being qualified as a 100% disabled veteran.

He liked his old license plate.  And his new one is very boring.  I was hoping the magnet might make him feel a little better about his vehicle’s look.  The woman asked what branch he was in.  I told her Army.  She picked up the other magnet and told me to take it to him.  She told me to thank him for his service. ❤

Tonight I am thankful for people who care.  I am going to drop these off to him tomorrow.  I hope he loves them!  And I hope I can convey how nice and appreciative the woman was who sent him the Army magnet.  Her genuine care will mean more to him than the magnet ❤
