It wouldn’t be spring time without baby chicks!!

I thought for a little bit that my hens would make baby chicks (with the rooster of course!).  But the hens seemed to be a bit confused.  The hen laid on the eggs during the day, then left the eggs to go sit up on the roost at night.  This, of course, is not how baby chicks are made.

Tonight I am thankful for getting just a handful of new chicks tonight!  The hubster wasn’t the most excited about this purchase.  But, he is a good sport! 🙂
