Oops!

Yesterday I mailed out several envelopes.  I put stamps on the envelopes and sent them from the post office.

Today they showed up back in my mailbox with a rubberband around them.

Um . . . I used postcard stamps.  Oops!

Tonight I am thankful that the post office lady saw what I did and sent them right back to me!  Those envelopes could have spent a lot more time in transit before returning to me.  Instead, I’ll stop by the post office tomorrow and buy the correct add-on stamps for the post card stamps I put on the envelopes!

P.S.  When did I even buy post card stamps?  I don’t really remember when I even added them to my drawer of mailing supplies!  Oops!
