Several months ago I wrote about discovering that one of my kiddos has scoliosis. We consulted with different doctors. And found that we were very fortunate that the curves aren’t too horrible and we have been minimally been working on his back.
I say minimally because I’ve felt we should be doing more. Time is very difficult. I’ve had another kiddo in and out of physical therapy and doctor’s appointments for another issue. I have three in braces right now and all of those appointments. Plus sports. And oh yeah, I’ve gotta work still too.
So, it just kept slipping thru the cracks to take kiddo in to the chiropractor. We have a terrific chiropractor! But, I’ve got to get the kiddo there.
Well today we went. And with winter sports, I think this is going to work. I am very sure we can make this a weekly thing. It will be very good!
Tonight I am thankful for working out a time to take care of the kiddos. I know, I know, it shouldn’t be this hard. Especially when it comes to something as important as a back!! It was just easier to push these appointments to the back of the schedule since there were activities to do at home and tools to help every day. But if something still went wrong that could have been prevented by the regular chiropractor visits; I would not be able to forgive myself. So now we are back on track! Hooray!
