Repetition

Sometimes I forget to repeat myself.

Sometimes I assume my kids remember important things that I told them years ago.

Sometimes I’m wrong.

In marketing/business, there is a statistic on how many times you have to repeat a message before people get it.  Yet in personal life, it is expected that everything is heard, understood, and remembered in one shot.  That’s not super realistic.

Tonight I am thankful that my kids are still growing.  I still have a chance to be a parent and talk to them.  Tonight I am thankful for a chance to keep pouring in to the lives of my children.  Tonight I am thankful for the chance to pray for them, love them, and tell them how worthy they are of love and happiness.
