After intentionally paying attention to the way I wake up over the past several weeks, I have noticed that I wake up best when I seem to wake up by myself just a few minutes before my alarm. I really don’t know how that happens . . I think it has something to do with getting at least 7 hours of sleep. It seems I wake up after about 7 hours naturally.
The alarm makes me actually get up. I can fall back asleep after sleeping for 7 hours! So if I wake up by myself AND it is still dark out, I can sleep more. I don’t sleep well when it is light out. But I leave my curtain cracked because I love to wake up and see the sun rising 🙂
When the alarm wakes me up and I’m sleeping soundly I hit snooze about five or six times.
Tonight I am thankful for making more of an effort to get at least seven hours of sleep every night! I haven’t done it every single night. But, it does make getting up easier! And I feel more rested during the day from sleeping and waking up better!!
