Fun!

I will admit that towards the end of last year, we were not following our budget very well. It’s easy to get off track and get a little less strict . . very easy.

Ok, so now we are doing better! We sat down at the beginning of the year, analyzed 3 random weeks from the last quarter of 2021, and reset our budgeting goals. Now, this may not seem like a big deal to some. But, we have done pretty well so far!

We replenished our weekly funds today for the upcoming week. And were reminded that our “Fun” envelope had not been spent all month. That means that we had four weeks of Fun money saved up (including this upcoming week’s funds)! Honestly, with the size of our family, that’s really what we need for everyone to go out and have fun. So tonight we went out and had fun!

Tonight I am thankful for the budgeted and allowable fun money for spending tonight! We had fun at the arcade! 🙂 🙂 Oh, and I got to bring home a new friend from my winnings! 🙂
