I remember when I was in school, I had to get a scientific calculator. It was a big deal. I remember the price being like $30, I think. It was a very big deal!
The price has came down quite a bit on these calculators. You can get them now for around $10 on sale.
This house has at least 5 to 6 of these calculators somewhere. There really should only be 4, one for each kid. But, some kids “lost” theirs. And I found more sales.
Today was the Psat test at the school. Kids needed to have their calculators. Guess how many calculators were found by my kiddos? One. One calculator. I asked the kiddos if they searched certain places. I was told that they looked and there was nothing.
I went and looked in the first place that I told the kiddos to look. And lo and behold, there was a calculator!
Tonight I am thankful that test-taking kiddos were able to go in to the school today with #2 pencils and calculators! Woo Hoo! I was NOT going to buy another calculator! 🙂
