On my way home last night I had 32ish miles left to go in my gas tank. I knew I should have stopped. But I didn’t. I thought I’d have time this morning.
This morning there were emails and voicemails that filled my morning until I HAD to go. And I didn’t have time to stop and get gas. But, it was only 26 miles to my first appointment. So I was good.
After the appointment two guys came and stood outside of the building I was just at. The building was empty. And I wasn’t sure why the guys were standing there. So I started my car, not thinking of the gas situation, turned on the AC and waited for the guys to leave. It was close to 20 minutes of waiting before they left.
I pulled on to the street, heading towards my next destination, and glanced at the gas level. It looked like this. Zero miles left in my gas tank. 🧐
Believe me, I was praying! Please let me make it to the gas station! 0.70 miles away! And 2 red lights of waiting!
Tonight I am thankful that I made it to the gas station! Woo Hoo! I did NOT run out of gas and have to push my car! Yay!!
