New Home

It has been one week tomorrow since the new goats arrived at our home!  One week on Sunday since the new ducks have arrived.

The ducks are still a little skiddish.  But the goats are starting to recognize that this is their home, I think.  Their pen is by the driveway.  And there is just something that makes a person smile when you pull in the driveway, roll down the window, and have four happy goats run to the fence, wagging their tails, and yelling their hellos. 🙂  I’ve missed having goats.

Tonight I am thankful that our new animals seem to be fitting in nicely.  It will be nice when I am assured that they know this is home and won’t try to roam.  When that happens, the goats are coming out to eat some poison ivy for me!!
