Tetanus Vaccine

I was outside climbing a fence barefoot.

I’m a clutz.

I cut my foot open on a metal fence post.

I am really not surprised that this happened, as I do things like this all the time.

Thankfully, a few weeks ago when I was in getting stitches, the doctor did confirm that I am up to date on my tetanus shot.

Tonight I am thankful for the tetanus vaccine.  Seriously, I have sent myself in to Redi-Care often throughout the years where this vaccine has been one of the first concerns.  I shudder to think what would become of my un-graceful self if I lived back in the olden days before such vaccines!!
