On a night when things didn’t go as planned, I went for a little drive. I wondered around a store. I bought some rice krispie treats. Then I got back in my car and just breathed in this moment of peace and twinkly lights.
I have been praying almost non-stop for days now. I’ve woken up with songs of God’s protection in my head. There’s a line in a song that stands out to me, “All my life you have been faithful. All my life you have been so, so good.” God is always faithful. We don’t always see it. And we don’t always let God’s will happen.
Tonight I am thankful for God’s faithfulness and goodness. My heart is happy trusting in him.
