Hope

Today had a lot of sad stuff in it.

There’s a saying that I have printed out and taped to my wall. It says “Today I thought to myself: I’m really losing hope in the world. And for just a moment, I started to feel pretty negative about that. But then I was reminded my hope was never meant to be in the world. My hope is meant to be in the Lord. And he has already conquered the world.”

And today, that has been a good reminder.

Tonight I am thankful that my hope is not in the world. I am thankful that there is more to life than just this world. Today I am sad for the several dear souls that I heard about who have left this world yesterday and today; but I will also be thankful for them, that they are in a better place with no more hurt or heartache. ❤
