Angels for Kitties

Over a week ago I was leaving the house . . a smidge late. I had the hubster start my car. I hopped in the car and took off.

Turns out the hubster forgot to check under my hood. I was going a bit over the speed limit. I heard a noise, glanced in my rear view mirror, and saw one of my barn kitties fall from the back of my car. I was going over 55 mph. The kitty flailed, rolled, got up and ran to the side of the road. I turned around quick and couldn’t find the kitty. I turned around again and saw a kitty run across the road. I didn’t know if it was my kitty again. I turned around yet again, but still couldn’t find my kitty. I was in tears. 😦

Since then we have had very cold temperatures and freezing rainy weather. I didn’t plan on seeing my kitty ever again. 😦 I prayed that the kitty was either ok or went quickly so that she wasn’t laying somewhere in pain, freezing to death. I had no heavenly inclination on which way to pray. I did pray that of course, I would prefer her to be healthy and come home.

Then today, a kiddo said the kitty was in the back yard. I put my shoes on as fast as I could. By the time I got to the door, the kiddo had the kitty. It really was the kitty that fell from my car! She was ok! I checked her all out. There doesn’t seem to be any broken bones or anything!!! I don’t know where she’s been, but she’s home!!

Tonight I am so, so, so very thankful that my kitty is back home and doing well!! She got to come inside today and have a can of wet food, along with her fill of dry food. She was purring and happy! ❤ I’ll bet if my kitty could talk, she would tell of an angel that helped her survive! My heart is smiling! ❤
