Graduated

Today was the day. My first child graduated high school ❤

I am so proud of her! I am not sure if I tell her enough – she does read my blogs, so now she’ll have it in writing! 🙂

The ceremony was outdoors and the light sprinkling of rain that moved in was greatly timed to cool everyone down!

After the ceremony, the now-alumni got to pick up goodie bags. One very special teacher had saved things from elementary school and had put them in the bags! We drove from the ceremony to the store to get drinks and ice cream. My graduate wouldn’t leave the car until she went thru the whole bag ❤

Tonight I am thankful for my high school graduate! She is one smart cookie! She is driven and caring. She is thoughtful and sweet. And now she is free of high school!
